Stone Colonial Crafts

5th grade students at Stone School had the opportunity to make their social studies unit on Colonial America come alive as they spent the morning working on crafts and projects. Writing with a feather pen, dipping candles, creating 'cross stitch' name samplers, string toys and paper dolls and drinking warm cider were some of the activities in which students participated. Trioramas that depict colonial times were placed on display in the school's resource center for all visitors to enjoy.
