Getting ready for school to begin

Students hadn't yet come back to school, but District 4 was a busy place as teachers and staff members spent time preparing for 2007-08 school year.
Monday through Wednesday, over 30 new teachers attended orientation meetings, met their teacher mentors, toured Addison and settled into their classrooms.
On Thursday, 340 staff members celebrated the beginning of the new year at an opening Institute Day breakfast where twelve staff members were recognized for their years of service, new staff members were introduced and department meetings were held. Friday was a day of building & curricular meetings and getting classrooms ready for students.
