Multiple Intelligences Unit

  The 7th graders on Team 7-2 are participating in a multiple intelligence unit.  The students took surveys to help them identify their strongest learning intelligences and they participated in various intelligence activities from science to music to math to language arts to inter- and intra-personal!  The students discovered their strengths as well as the areas in which they need to improve.  Students have had intelligence/career presentations from Sue Bortko on art, Christine Hubek on psychology, Randy Ahlgrim on firefighting/paramedic, and Eric Brent on police/detective. 

In language arts, the students created classroom presentations based on one of their intelligences, using contests, games, posters, songs, guitar solos, dance demonstrations, and Powerpoint presentations.  On May 27, 2009 at 6:30pm, the team is hosting a multiple intelligence fair to showcase the student talents.
