Chicago Cares and SAP beautify IT and Army Trail
October 16, 2008

Chicago Cares is a non-profit organization that coordinates and connects businesses and individuals with volunteer opportunities throughout the Chicago area. Working with Chicago Cares, SAP, an international software firm, provided 100 volunteer workers who spent a day digging holes to plant trees and shrubs, hauling mulch and building planter benches at Indian Trail Junior High. They also painted murals, playground games, maps and literacy squares at Army Trail School. Two years ago, many of the same volunteers from SAP worked at Army Trail with KaBOOM! to create the beautiful playground that students enjoy every day.

Many thanks to SAP and Chicago Cares!!
