Physical Education teachers Gale Stafford and Karen Coffinbargar introduced a nutrition unit to students in PE classes at Army Trail, Fullerton and Wesley Schools, with the help of grants from the Addison District 4 Education Foundation and Eco Lab. Playing a variety of nutrition games, the students have learned how to identify a food into the group based on the food pyramid, read a food label, find a food label,  and make connections with exercise and good food choices.
