Making Plans for Ardmore Playground

Ardmore School is thrilled to announce that it will be partnering with KaBOOM! and Home Depot to build a new playground for the school on October 7, 2008. KaBOOM! is an organization whose goal is to build playspaces within walking distance of every child. Ardmore's staff, students and families are working to raise funds, solicit food donations and recruit volunteers for the playground Build Day on October 7. The NFL is also involved with this project throught their Home Town Hero program. Charles Tillman of the Chicago Bears will be one of the nearly 300 volunteers who will be involved in this playground build.

A planning session was held on August 7 to introduce the partners. Students had the opportunity to design and share their ideas for their dream playground.
