Ardmore Story Night & Cake Auction

Ardmore students and their families came to school for storytime and a chance to take home some delicious dessert. Story sessions were held in 15 classrooms while the library was converted into a temporary bakery where dozens of cakes--created by staff members--reminded visitors of some of their favorite children's books. Families had the opportunity to bid on their favorite cakes between story time sessions. At the end of the evening, cakes were sold to the highest bidders and more than $600 were raised to buy additional books for the school library.
