Veterans Day Celebration at Lake Park

Students at Lake Park School participated in a variety of activities to recognize and honor veterans and to learn about Veterans Day. Students created American flags which they brought with them to the gym where they took part in a school-wide assembly. After the assembly, Lake Park's guests, all of whom had served in the Armed Forces, visited classrooms where they read a book (Veterans Day) and answered questions posed by the students and staff.
