I hope all of you had a safe and enjoyable summer vacation. We are excited about starting the new school year and once again working together side by side with you to help your child be as successful as possible. As a new member of the Army Trail community, I look forward to working with staff members, your children, and you. That can only be possible if we work together as a team. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact either the office or myself. It is important to keep the strong lines of two-way communication open. Our theme here is: Army Trail is a Community of Learners! WE are ALL in this TOGETHER!

An important piece of communication between school and home is our school newsletters which are sent home every other Thursday. Please take the time to read these as they will often contain important information pertaining to school events and dates. Take the time every night to go through your child's backpack and discuss their day with them. This will show them that you value their education.

To help your child be successful in school, please arrange a schedule for him or her to follow every night. Establishing and following a routine and finding a quiet place for your child to do their homework will help your child complete all assignments and be successful in school. A good night's sleep and a nutritional breakfast will also help your child succeed.
