Mission Statement  The gifted education program in Addison School District 4 challenges students to become self-directed, life-long learners through a diverse and flexible curriculum.  Students are encouraged to develop higher order thinking skills through the pursuit of individual interests, participation in enrichment activities and interaction with others in problem solving and decision making.  The educational program for gifted students is a collaborative effort involving parents, classroom and special area teachers and the administration.
