Indian Trail Junior High School Supply List

The Basics:

  • Loose-leaf paper (wide lined)*
  • Blue/black pens*
  • Red pens*
  • #2 pencils*
  • 3 - glue sticks*
  • Colored pencils (erasable preferred)
  • One single-subject spiral notebook per subject in a variety of colors including the "Specials" classes*
  • One two-pocket folder with clips per subject-plastic preferred in a variety of colors including "Specials" classes*
  • 2 packages 3x5 lined note cards*
  • Scientific Calculator (TI 30X IIs preferred)
  • Ruler (centimeters and inches)
  • Expo Low-odor dry erase markers
  • Graph paper
  • Two boxes of facial tissue turned into the Connections teacher the 1st day of school
  • Highlighters
  • Personal pencil sharpener
  • White Out- tape only (no liquid)
  • Pencil pouch with zipper for 3 ring binder
  • One backpack with sturdy fabric, padded, adjustable shoulder straps, and strong zippers. It must be
    flexible and compact enough that it will fit inside the lockers. No wheels.
  • 5 large paper bags for book covers
  • Post-Its*

* These items will need to be replenished frequently throughout the school year. It would be helpful to have an
extra set of many of the above items at home for completing homework assignments

For Home:

  • Washable markers
  • Dictionary
  • Thesaurus
  • Scissors
  • Clear protractor
  • Ruler (centimeter and inches)

Special Items

Seventh Grade

  • 1 package of reinforcement labels for 3 ring binders
  • 5 tab dividers
  • Math - One and a half or two inch binder

Special Area Courses

  • Specials 1 Rotation: (Art, Health, Life Skills, Computers, Applied Tech) Black fine line marker, two pencils, and a two pocket folder with clips
  • Specials 2 Rotation: (Math Lab, Literacy Lab, Humanities, Music) one spiral notebook and two 2-pocket folders with clips
  • Foreign Language: One 3-ring binder (one inch), Loose-Leaf Paper,  5 color tab dividers, two 3x5 blank note cards

Bilingual: The following additional materials are necessary for the bilingual program

  • 1 English/Spanish - Spanish/English Dictionary
  • 1 Three ring binder

ESL:

  • Spiral Notebook
  • Double Pocket Folder
  • Translation Dictionary in your native language

Special Education:

  • Special education supply lists will be distributed on the first day of school.
