Welcome to Indian Trail. It has been my pleasure to be an Addison District #4 staff member since 1987. During my first three years with the district, I served as the school guidance counselor. In my fourth year with the district I moved into the position of assistant principal. In August of 2003, it was with great excitement that I moved into my current position of Principal. Prior to my employment with District #4, I worked at the corporate level in retail food management with a part time career in financial services. Before moving into those positions, I taught junior high school math. I have additional teaching experience at the college level where I taught insurance and financial securities pre-licensing courses for ten years.

As a building administrator, I have had the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of responsibilities that include: supervising of all curriculum areas; working directly with special education, bilingual, ESL and gifted program students and staff; evaluating non-tenured staff members and collaborating with tenured teachers as they develop their yearly professional growth plans; functioning as the master scheduler for our building of approximately 1300 students and 85 teachers.

The part of my job that I most enjoy is anything that gives me direct contact with students and parents. I love working with middle school age students as they present me with a new challenge each and every day. They insure that my job is never boring.
