Indian Trail P.E. Fitness Center
The weight room and fitness center at Indian Trail Junior High offers our students and staff an outstanding variety of free weight, machine and cardio equipment options to meet their fitness needs. The primary purpose of the strength training facility is to serve as an educational site for physical education and athletic conditioning for middle school students.
PRIMARY GOALS:
1. Make our students feel better about themselves.
2. Build self-confidence. Students who feel confident will perform with confidence.
3. Decrease the chance of injury.
4. Develop strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and muscular endurance.
5. Develop coordination
6. Emphasize function not size.
7. Decrease body fat.
8. Firm up all the muscles of the body.
9. Improve individual fitness and athletic ability.
