PROJECT PRIDE

The faculty of Indian Trail Junior High School is happy to announce that Project Pride is back and will begin its 21st year of operation this fall. Project Pride was established to help improve our school climate and provide a broader recognition for greater numbers of students. Through this program, students learn to be Proud of Indian Trail, show Respect, get Involved, be Dependable and exhibit Enthusiasm for learning.

Project Pride "bucks" are used to reward students for academic success, good behavior, good attendance, participation in sports and clubs, and service to our school and community. We want our students to learn that being a good citizen is noticed and appreciated by both their school and community. The Project Pride "bucks" can be used by students to make purchases from the Project Pride store that is set up once a week during the lunch periods. Students can purchase prizes ranging from sport cards to school supplies, candy, books, posters and other items. One of the highlights of our rewards is the annual field trips to places such as Waterworks pool, Brookfield Zoo, Roller Skate, Galaxy World, Funway, Enchanted Castle, Just Fun Amusements, Haunted Trails, Laser Tag and other exciting places.

In the past, community businesses and organizations have been very generous with donations that we can then use as incentives in our Project Pride store. We have received monetary donations which enable us to stock our store appropriately. We have also received posters, bowling passes, computer programs, pencils, pens rings, sports cards, coupons from local restaurants and many other items. We would appreciate any donation that you can provide. No donation is too small.
