Addison School District 4 serves 4,200 preschool through eighth grade children in nine school facilities.  Most of our students reside in Addison with a few living in the neighboring communities of Bensenville, Itasca, Lombard, Villa Park and Wood Dale.  We are proud of the strong foundations that we provide our children to prepare them for high school and college or their careers.  Eligible three to five year old children may attend the Addison Early Learning Center and 100% of our children participate in our full day kindergarten program.  Our students attend one of seven (kindergarten through 5th grade) elementary schools based on the location of their residence.  Families may use the address locator to identify their assigned elementary school based on their home address.  All sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students attend Indian Trail Junior High School.

ASD4 Preschool for All (PFA) achieves Gold Circle of Quality

Congratulations to everyone involved with the preschool programs at the Addison Early Learning Center and Army Trail School for having achieved ExceleRate Illinois' highest rating, the Gold Circle of Quality! ExceleRate Illinois is the state's quality recognition and improvement system for early learning and development programs and it places a high priority on instructional excellence, family services, staff qualifications, professional development, and program administration. Well done!

Summer Office Hours

ASD4's District Office Summer Hours (effective through July 26, 2019) 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday 8:00am-12:30pm Friday All school offices are closed in July. School offices will be open for parents on August 6, 7 & 8 and 13,14, & 15 from 9-11am and 1-3pm.
