District 4 Education Foundation

The Addison School District 4 Educational Foundation for Excellence is a non-profit organization that was established in 2006 in order to support projects which will enhance the learning experiences of District 4 students.

In its first fourteen years, the Foundation has awarded over $232,000 to more than 500 teachers and teacher teams who have implemented exciting programs and projects for students. Check the link below to see a record of the grants that have been awarded.

Dear Addison Community,

Welcome—and thank you for your interest in the Addison School District 4 Educational Foundation for Excellence.

Our Foundation exists to enrich the educational experience of every District 4 student. With your support, we help turn great ideas into real opportunities: creative projects, hands-on learning experiences, and scholarships that empower students to dream big.

As members of the Addison community—whether you're a parent, graduate, educator, neighbor, or friend—you are a vital part of this mission. Every contribution, from donations to volunteer time, helps us invest in the future of our schools and the students we all care about.

We invite you to explore our site, learn more about the impact of past grants, and consider how you might get involved. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference—one project, one classroom, one student at a time.

With gratitude,
Bob Wojtas
